REBRANDING TASIFEST: MAKE WAVES
CHALLENGE
TasiFest was already the largest music festival in East Timor, but it still felt small compared to the scale of its dream: to become an international benchmark.
our challenge, therefore, was to reimagine the brand to match its ambition of becoming a global cultural experience rooted in purpose, music, and ocean conservation.



INSIGHT
“Tasi” means “sea” in Tetum (the language of East Timor), and the sea is movement, rhythm, and connection.
inspired by the movements of the sea, we created the creative concept: “MAKE WAVES.” in other words, do something meaningful and leave a positive mark on the world!
more than just a lineup of artists, TasiFest is a movement, a celebration of music, culture, and environmental awareness, inviting each audience member to participate in collective change.



SOLUTION
the new TasiFest brand puts East Timor on the global map of significant festivals. it attracts local and international audiences, celebrates Timorese culture, and inspires sustainability through immersive experiences.
by 2025, TasiFest will welcome more than 25,000 attendees daily, and now has the brand and presence to match its vision.
